UNO Lakefront Arena

An event venue listed by Bandsintown in New Orleans.

Plan your visit

UNO Lakefront Arena is on LSU New Orleans’ East Campus at 6801 Franklin Avenue, on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain. Its official directions page provides driving approaches from the east, west, downtown/French Quarter/Uptown, and the Westbank. The venue’s downtown route uses Elysian Fields Avenue and Leon C. Simon Boulevard, and specifically warns that there is no Franklin Avenue exit directly from I-10 when coming from downtown. For people familiar with Lakeview and Gentilly, the venue also suggests approaching from the lake side via Lakeshore Drive to miss most arrival traffic.^[1]

Do

If driving from downtown, follow the arena’s directions via Elysian Fields Avenue and Leon C. Simon Boulevard rather than looking for a Franklin Avenue exit from I-10.^[1]
If you know the Lakeview and Gentilly area, consider the arena’s suggested Lakeshore Drive approach from the lake side to avoid most arrival traffic.^[1]
